Hello Everyone,
Well I figured I would start this blog as a way for friends and family, near and far,so you could see what the 3 of us are up too.
Well these past few months have been crazy. Greg has been busy with work at the detention center. I have been taking care of our sweet baby girl and everything in between. We cant believe se will already be One in just a little over 2 months. Its hard to believe that already. I feel like I just had her and everyone always says that but I really do.
Speaking of Miss Ashlyn, here are some updates on her.
She is jabbering up a storm now a days, saying dada and things like that, but not full words or anything. Still no teeth yet. I still feel like I can keep her little still because shes not walking or crawling. Were working on both , but we are not quite there yet. Shes weighing at 22.2 lbs now and growing like a weed and is 28 1/2 inches long.
Ashlyn loves the outdoors. She has a swing outside that she loves to sit in and she just grins if you push her real high in it. Last week, I blew up her little baby pool and let her get in for the frst time . She loved it. She thought it was so funny when the water kept splashing in her face. Its rare to get her to laugh out loud so when she does its so sweet. We hope to be able to take her to the beach soon for her first trip away with mommy and daddy.
A few other updates on me and Greg... We wet to Charleston for our 3 year anniversary and we loved it. It was our first visit for both of us to the area. We went to the SC Aquarium , Downtown for a little shopping and sightseeing, and to the USS Yorktown. We had a really great time and I think we both agree we will be making more trips there.
When I figure out the whole picture thing, I will add some newer pictures of all 3 of us.
